Job Title: Plant Manager
Location: Timisoara, Romania
Type: Interim assignment with planned permanent hire
Overview
Large Tier 1 automotive supplier with headquarters in Western Europe
Replacement for the current Plant Manager from 1 July 2026
Simultaneous leadership of a global performance improvement program
Long-term goal: transfer into a permanent position
Key Responsibilities
Take over full responsibility for plant management
Lead daily operations and ensure plant stability and performance
Drive implementation of the performance program on site
Identify weaknesses, inefficiencies, and improvement areas
Define and implement optimization and transformation measures
Improve operational performance, processes, and execution discipline
Act as key contact for management and customers
Lead teams with a hands-on, results-driven approach
Requirements
Technical university degree
Strong automotive supplier background
Proven experience as Plant Manager, Site Manager, Managing Director, or at least Production Manager in a similar-sized operation
Experience with performance programs, optimization, and transformation Personal Profile
Strong leadership and project experience
Analytical and confident
Independent working style
Hands-on mentality
Strong end-to-end process understanding
Customer-oriented
Strong problem-solving and implementation skills

Ideally 10+ years of professional experience
Languages
